July EVENTS
Monday Lunch on July 20th, will be BBQ Chicken Legs or vegetable lasagna. Cost is $4.00 which will benefit the Center. Served at 12:00--please make reservations by 9:00 a.m. that day by calling 723-3237.  

July monthly Dinner on Wednesday, July 29th at 5:00 p.m. at 1st Presbyterian Church on Market Street, Warren. A delicious ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli casserole and dessert dinner  will be served. Entertainment following dinner by the Reverend George Johnson on facts and tidbits about the settling of Warren back in 1795.  Cost is now $5.00 per person and please don't forget your place setting. Please sign up early as we have a limited number of  reservations. You can phone ride requests to the Center. 723-3237.

Lunches served at noon are now $3.00 All lunches must be ordered 24 hours in advance ( before 9:00 a.m. the previous day.
THE BEST CLASSES IN TOWN
AARP Safe Driving Course sponsored by Warren Senior Center. This full driving course will be offered again in the Fall. Completing this course reduces your car insurance premium. If two people in the family both must take the course. It is held at St. Paul's Luthern Church on Conewango Ave. The cost for AARP members is $12.00 and non-members $14.00. Advanced registration and payment are required. Call 723-3237 to register.

New Bible Study Class
 Each Wednesday at 12:45 Pastor Mike Sperry will be conducting a Bible study and his wife Susie will be having a :hymn sing." Please come and get to know the Sperrys and enjoy this class.

Computer Classes
Class will resumein June after tax season. Sign up with the receptionist 723-3237 and you will be called for class.

Craft Classes
Held on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. The class is looking for a leader to direct them in crafts. If you are interesting in volunteering please call the Center at 723-3237. These are dedicated crafters who work on projects to be sold at bazaars.

Crochet Class
Held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Hooks and yarn and printed patterns are available.

Grief Support
This is a NEW Class and will be held on Monday, June 15th at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Todd Onink will be the leader of the class. Pastor Todd is the Chaplain for Asera Care Hospice and Pastor of the First Free Methodist Church. This group will meet the 3rd Monday of the month in March, April and May.

One Stroke Painting Class
with Sandee Geer. will resume in September.

Quilting Class
Held on Mondays,at 1:00 p.m. A quilt is being worked on now. Quilters are always welcome to help out. The quilts are used for raffles to benefit the Center.

Scrapebooking
Is held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Join the gropu anytime.

Stamping Class
Held on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Registrations always open.

on Friday, July 17th, at 11:45 a.m. Come join us and board the van at 11:45 and head for annual RIBFEST lunch, this year at Betts Park again. Cost is $1.00 per person plus your lunch.

on Wednesday, July 22nd, at 11:00 a.m Leaving the center at 11:00 a.m. and driving out to Kinzua Dam where we"ll eat lunch at Docksiders Cafe. Ice cream stop on the way home.Cost is $5.00 plus your meal.Reserve early--sure to fill up quick. We'll go rain or shine.

Englebert Humperdink Concert at Chautauqua Institute  on Friday, August 7th. Leave the center at 4:00 p.m. with a dinner stop on your own. Van will drop off and pick up at amphitheater. Cost is $55.00.

The Honorable Kathy Dahlkemper, Congresswoman for the 3rd District, has an office on the second floor of the Warren Senior Center. A representive from her office from her office in Erie will be in the Warren office from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of each month starting March 4th. Appointments are not required, drop-ins welcome.
Birthday Party ( New Day )

        Created at the Warren Senior Center by quilters. Attractive multi-colored broken dish pattern. On displayed in the reception area. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6/$5.00. Drawing will be on December 23, 2009.

The quilt is now on display at Tybout House 117 Market St. This is a craft consignment shoppe. Tickets are available there.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES AT 18TH ANNUAL PLEASURERS AND TREASURES
Countyside Folk Art Faire on Saturday, July 11th, at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Pittsfield. Open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Warren Senior Center Shortcake Booth will again be set-up.
